Category Archives: fabric Since I have two portrait sessions and one wedding on New Years Eve I decided to write this a couple of days early. I’ve seen a couple of ‘reign in the new year’ posts this week and remembered that I’d done a similar wrap-up last year. It was fun to go back and revisit it….  If you follow my pinterest boards, you’ll know that I’ve been a tad bit dollhouse obsessed lately. This dollhouse pillow, in particular, immediately caught my eye. I knew I wanted to make one! Since Children at Play didn’t arrive in time to the be the star of Ellie’s quiet book, I figured I would instead…  I was lucky twice on Giveaway Day, winning this vintage pattern from Ejegmama and this set of gorgeous fat quarters from Kristine at A Verb for Keeping Warm! They were waiting for me when I got home from Seattle and I felt so lucky and inspired!  The kids and I are back from 15 days in Seattle, and settling back into our summer routine. I’m not working very much this summer, and trying to compensate for that by doing lots of Good Mommy things like walks and tea parties and craft projects and picnics in the backyard. Here are some random…  I pulled this stack of fabric out to add to my diamond star quilt and noticed how gorgeous they look together. Also prepping some pretty neutrals… A shot from this weekend–the family watching Tangled and my Central Park quilt in action.
